Ye Concert Report

I'm sure the guys thought their reunion, after a fifteen year hiatus, would be a little bit popular, at least with the few remaining dedicated fans.  I'm sure they felt the Boston show would very likely be the most popular.

I knew for sure that they had no idea just HOW popular and intense the reunion would be -and just how dedicated the fandom has been all this time- at the point in the show, a few songs in, when Donnie was trying to finish a monologue introducing the next song... and he was having a very hard time doing so because he was moved to tears by the audience.  Hundreds and hundreds of fans, not so much cheering as hitting octaves I wasn't even aware I was capable of, and wearing all of their old collectibles (the classic concert shirts, the hats, the giant awesome buttons, neon everything). 

I hate to fall back on borrowing a term from TV Tropes yet again, but the whole concert was absolutely a Crowning Moment of Awesome/Heartwarming for the NKOTB fandom (and Boston-based fandoms in general.)
