Coraline or Slumdog Millionaire?

Argh!  I can't decide which movie to see tonight!  I really enjoyed reading Coraline, but Slumdog seems like my kind of movie.

Any suggestions?

You may find that a tad depressing. Or exhilarating. Or not.

It's no joy to behold, for sure.

I think I'll try for the Reader tomorrow.

Slumdog is based on a book too, skip both, see The Wrestler.

Slumdog Millionare is sprawling, over the top, and ultimately uplifting.  The Wrestler is an incredible film, but it's kind of a downer.  Coraline is incredibly well made and has some really astonishing visuals. 

Or, you could just go see Friday the 13th - sometimes everyone's in the mood for mindless violence...
