stood in front of the white house to protest unfair civil rights and discrimination while a white president sat back and probhably wondered what to do?

Now, a bunchy of ritch, white, morons are protesting a black president because he wants to take some of their money, everyone's money, and use it to help others pay their medical bills.

Puts things in perspective, doesn't it?

Obamacare doesn't use taxpayer dollars

At least not right away.  There may be some subsidies to help poor people pay for their private health insurance that Obama would require them to buy.  That will happen several years from now, if at all.
