I feel your pain

It got all the way down to 58 degrees yesterday evening. I actually had to put on a sweater with my shorts to walk to the store.

It was mid 40's at 6am here

Awesome morning run. Left windows open before I left to work
VIVA Pacific Northwest!
I so don't miss the east coast (except NYC, Philly & Boston)
By the by, where is here?
...what...what were talking about again?

Turned out we got 8 inches of snow!

And a nearby town got 10 inches. The power was out for two days and the cable just came on recently. We've haven't had snow for years

If it ever snows here in Miami

You can bet I will be standing on a steet corner in Little Havana. Watching the local Hispanics seeing snow for the first time will be a major kick in the head.
And I mean that in a good way.

For Northeast Georgia that's a bunch

Too bad the power was out, I could've watched the Atlanta news dweebs freak out. Also my neighborhood is in sort of a valley and the road going out is on a 45 degree grade. So it doesn't take much to leave us snow bound. Now they say we are going to have 70 degrees temp tomorrow! This weather, she's crazy!

Dan...

...I've seen that; when we were still in Virginia, one neighborhood we lived in had turned into "Little El Salvador" -- there was one occasion where there was a light snowfall and lots of Hispanics were out with their cameras taking pictures of each other, apparently for the folks back home.
Raj: Eh, when I was a kid, we had snowbanks at the side of the road that reached up to the wires on the telephone poles. We'd also go out and play in white-out condition blizzards.

It's in Denver...

...hasn't dropped below 50 for like a month it seems. It's been in the 70s for 2 days. The southwest will be a flaming dustbowl once the 8 billion dead lodgepole pines catch fire this summer.
