Michael Moore on the Auto Bailout

Yeah, the gov't should instruct them...

...them and the banks.  I mean, why aren't expert financial analysts being called in to see what is best for these companies.  Why wasn't that done in the bank bailouts and why isn't it being done now?  You get the money IF, you do this, this, and this.

Because the government

Because the government doesn't know what it's talking about most of the time.  That's why a lot of these guys are in politics.

If it's not going to save jobs...

Then why the hell do it?

I'd rather they give the money to new companies that will put out the new kind of cars we need. Finance research instead of throwing it down the same ole hole.

Give it to the big three and they'll still lay off people to save their asses. FUCK 'EM!

Innovative research already

Innovative research already is going on.  Just not so much by the Big 3.  It's being done by much smaller, leaner companies trying to break into the market.  Paying the Big 3 for their incompetence will hurt these little guys in the long run, which is typical of government-business partnerships.

It's more like a protection racket, especially considering the Big 3 gave over 50 million dollar in lobbying money the first 8 months of the year.

In exchange for this money...

Congress should ask for their resignations

Yes, give it to the smaller companies

I just heard on the tv news that even with this money the Fat Three could still go bankrupt in the next two years

Not only are jobs at stake, many will lose their pensions over this. That is if the fat cats haven't raided them already.

I'm curious about the timing of all this. Funny this happening all around the election.

Maybe this is one of the Signs. Time for the Rapture!
