And I like the story, pacing, and the characters. Funny and sweet. The cameo was tres cool too.

Cameo?

What? Jewelry is now taking Good Acting Jobs away from 'Murrican actors? An outrage, sir! An outrage!!! It's bad enough that Australians are taking all of our American Superhero roles. But now, INANIMATE OBJECTS are taking up screen time!?! I mean, sure - a brooch has more emotional range than Ben Affleck, but still....
Or, are we talking about Jewel? I which case, sir, I may be forced to Write to The Times!!!
TheWreck, who is chock-filled with outrage!

Did you catch the reference to one of the cameo's movies?

It was early on in the movie

It was when Rango met that toad and they were running....

from the hawk and the hawk catches the toad and carries him away. The toad calls Rango a son-of-a-bitch but it ends in the hawks scream. That remined me of that first scene in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly were Eli calls Clint a son-of-a-bitch that ends in a scream that starts that goofy theme music. The cameo is Clint Eastwood.

Actually, the scene's at the end of the movie

Tuco: "You know what you are, Blondie? A CRAZY SONOFABITCH!!" (Then his voice turns into the theme music.)
