Looks like it will be necessary to require verification to stop the Spam.

If this is done it will be possible to get rid of the feature where posts need to be reviewed by someone before they show up on the web site.  Surely that would be a good thing and a time saver?

I have had 12-15 posts queued for review

Most of them never showed up.  Not a big deal.  If people had to register in order to post it would cut down on the spam and the site administrators could eliminate the queue thing.  This would save them time since they wouldn't have to review posts.
