Just as they do every year, and will continue to do so until there's not a drop of oil left on (or in) the planet.
I've discovered that refusing to gas up on the May long weekend hasn't caused the industry to lower prices, so I'm open to suggestions.

My UPS is working in the power outage

This is kind of cool. The power is out in the neighborhood, but I can still go online with my desk top PC. My UPS (uninterrupted power supply) battery is working just fine. I got this thing for hurricane season but it works just fine for an ordinary power outage.
