Well, it is a David Cronenberg film...

based on a William S. Burroughs book, so you couldn't have expected anything resembling "normal". The film's an oddball fave of mine, but its definately one you have to be in just the right mood for...

Mr. T, you didn't like Eraserhead I'd hardly think you'd like ..

Naked Lunch.
To be honest it had a bit too much homoeroticia for me
And why did he keep blowing his wife's brains out?

Rajah, I didn't say I didn't like Eraserhead...

It was pretty good. Naked Lunch as far as the title goes, me, along with *Bart, Milhouse, Nelson, & Marvin all found the title misleading for different reasons.
Yes, I liked it, it went beyond all expectations as far as I didn't think there were movies out there that went as far as to have typewriters turn into insects with talking buttholes under their wings and so randomly.
Also, the second time he shoots his wife I'm told is just to prove to the two guards that he's a writer because William Burrows said he wouldn't have become a writer if he hadn't accidentally killed his wife.
It's a film that requires input from say users on th imdb or maybe one might actually consider reading the book.
*The film was referenced in the Simpsons, Bart, Milhouse, Nelson, & Marvin had fake IDs and though they were getting into an R rated film that had lots of nudity. Funny because the title is misleading but for other reasons than that.

Hey

I quoted Nelson's line. That's one of my favorite episodes, i love it when thay are all wearing wigs, and the Lisa Homer subplot was touching.
