Its directed by Ang Lee who did "The Ice Storm," one of my favorite films from a few years ago. The action sequences are supposed to be some of the best ever. I'm not sure what the tone will be, though. Lee always seems to create these somewhat downbeat, understated films with complex moral issues. However, this film at least appears to be a straight kung fu film. I'm guessing this might be something closer to "The Thin Red Line" in reality but pared back quite a bit. We'llsee. I'm looking quite forward to it.
