I enjoyed parts of this movie. The beginning was pretty good. What really hurt it for me was when they brought in the family element to Cusack's experience in the room. If it had just been about Cusack and the horror of 1408 that would have been better. But, they had to bring in Cusack's daughter, father and ex wife....
