Shadow of the Vampire - Interesting combination of "making of" movie and horror picture. Dafoe is excellent as the vampire/"character actor" and Malcovich is a great match for him as the obsessive director. Score - 8/10

Wishmaster - Cheezy mid-budget slasher flick with bad acting, gory FX (which were toned down considerably in the USA Network copy I saw), cheezy 1-liners, and a wonderfully reptilian villian. Not great cinema, but a lot of fun if you're in the right mood. Score - 6/10

Me, Myself and Irene - Middling film with a few really funny sequences. The "Jekyll and Hyde" thing has been done before, but Jim Carrey is good at differentiating the mild- mannered Charlie and the rash Hank. Worth renting for the scattered really funny moments. Score - 6.5/10

Ever After - Cinderella revamp which I actually liked a good deal more then I thought I would. Drew Barrymore was pretty good as the lovelorn servant girl Danielle (though the feminist undertones of the character were really anacronistic), while Anjelica Huston proved again that she does the wicked stepmother thing better then anyone. Worthwhile if you're looking for a fun time. Score - 7/10
