The "Last Boy Scout." Bruce plays a world-weary, drunken, guilt ridden detective who was a former secret service agent for the President. Secret Service agent is like a cop, right? Also "Hostage" where he played a world-weary, guilt ridden hostage negotiator who after causing a hostage to be killed decides to leave the big city and become a small town world-weary, guilt ridden sheriff. Also the "Fifth Element" where Bruce plays a world-weary, drunken (suspended?) cop who must save the world. See, Mr. Cranky, it is worse than you thought!
