How in the world can you all pick apart this movie? This is one of the finest films ever made.
It's too slow... Is it. Maybe thats so you can actually think about what is going on. To analyze the film during, not after it. For many this movie will be "over your head" so I guess I can understand.
And the *LSD* scene is an extended transport through time and space. It brings us into the final scene which is quite seperate from the rest of the movie... A world in which may actually be another dimension. A finale which has left so many mystified, wanting to watch this movie over and over again to better understand it. I've already seen it 5 times, which places it second to The Godfather. (14 I think)
