Well I heard that those monkeys are not really real monkeys at all. I heard that they were really castrated male actors dressed up to look like monkeys, because fake monkeys look more real on screen than real monkeys do. And real monkeys tend to throw their shit around which is a real problem if you're trying to make a film about monkeys that don't throw their shit around. On the other hand, real monkeys would be perfect if you were to make a movie about crazy monkeys from outer space that attack people with their shit.
