First of all, the "M" stands for "music." Why, then, does MTV fill its schedule with lots and lots of programming ("Daria," "Beavis and Butt-head," "Celebrity Deathmatch," "Road Rules," "The Real World," "Loveline," etc.) that is absolutely non-music-related?! To be fair, I really like "Daria" (she's hot) and "Celebrity Deathmatch," but wouldn't it make more sense for them to be on, say, Comedy Central?
Jesse Camp is THE ABSOLUTELY MOST ANNOYING LITTLE FREAK on the face on the Earth --- and I'm including myself. The next he mentions how "awthome" Korn is in his stupid little fake-drug-induced voice with that moronic grin and annoying haircut, I'm going to do something horrible to the TV --- what, I don't know.
Also, why don't they play better videos? I mean, the programmers at VH1 know what they're doing. They play a really cool selection of videos that aren't obviously just picked from the top of the teenybopper charts. Stupid Britney Sync Boys...
And why DON'T they play MORE videos? If I'm ever bored enough to want to watch a 2-hour-long block of MTV videos, I usually have to do so at some ungodly hour...before I finally lose consciousness after seeing the same video that's been show 8 million times in the past two days.
I could think of more, but I'm too fueled to think...and the sad part is that MTV is sickeningly addictive, even though VH1 is far superior.
That's my rant, and I'm sticking to it...
