Sounds like something I went through last year. I was suffering from a cold for about two days and I didn't think anything of it until I woke up the third morning and couldn't breath and had to be taken the the emergency room. Turns out that little cold I had was chronic bronchitis...I'm still shocked at how fast it came on with little warning especially since I never really felt that sick. I had to go around with an inhaler for awhile afterwards and my lungs are not the same as they use to be. :/
