I assumed that women got alimony (as opposed to men) because men traditionally make more money. I suppose in a few cases (like when Madonna got rid of that Latin guy) men do get alimony. Whether or not one is in a "no-fault" state seems to have something to do with it. LRT or Uber might have suggestions or info about this.
BatRay, you have my most sincere sympathies and fervent hopes for a speedy resolution to this dilemma. E-mail me if you want. We can call your ex dirty names. Or we could burn him in effigy in New Biggleston. >:)
