Yes, the US shouldn't claim to be a free market when it isn't, but the term is used today like "Democracy." We claim to be a "Democracy" and are not, we just have a form of democratic gov't, but thats understood.
You'll notice that everyone from Europe to Asia to Canada are pouring their goods into the US cause no one else buys like we do. At the same time, many of those countries don't even allow US goods to be sold in their borders. The Japanese do this with cars and electronics among other things. So sorry if we put some tariffs on a few items to protect our own industries, cause everyone else does as well. We just can't afford to buy the excess goods of everyone in the world.
