Hmmm...I could definitely see how some people would find that "Swimming Pool" was a bit slow before it really picked up starting with the murder. But I think, 1) the first 2/3 of the film did a really nice job setting up plot points & characters for the final twists (i.e., all of the stuff with Franck); and 2) the pacing was appropriate for what the film was, which was, essentially, A British detective novel. While this in itself may not have been compelling enough, the nudity really pushed it over the top. Aron, you say that this was distracting, but I think that was kind of the point. The film had people pay attention to this instead of the character & where she would eventually go.
