There is ONLY ONE funny scene in which "8-Heads" delivers:
The Pesci motel-room dream sequence.
Other than that, the film is a LOT of what we've already seen in movies like "Weekend At Bernies" and the whole sad lot of so-called "black comedy" masking as "bleak-comedy."
We know about Peci. Yeah, he's the typecast gangster. We know how he reacts already...I mean, if we didn't watch "The Super" or "Goodfellas" by now.
If you want black comedy with a LOT of dryness WITHOUT the idiocy of running and pandering around the room for the camera, "Fargo" works a lot better.
"8-heads" seems to be running on one head without a sense of making this feature into a simple ten-minute short.
The only standout is David Spade. Spade's deadpan commentary is the only thing which suspends this film...as long as he is in the scene.
Other than that, it is a waste.
