First of all, it's been 2 years, mostly enjoyable.
I came across Cranky's through an odd path. A college roomate knew someone who had just spent 6 months in the antarctic. When he got back to the States, he setup a web page with photos and stuff like that. He also had a section dedicated to "what do you do when one night is 5 months long". In the list of the most popular time consuming activities (sleeping was #1) was a very entertaining movie review site, Mr C's. I think I started browsing around March-97, and first posted in ~June-97.
And that's the truth !
