Listen closely to the plot of A.I.: A little robot boy wishes he were real. Change the word "robot" to "wooden" and now yooz got the plot to Pinocchio. Steven Spielberg isn't trying anymore. He used to make good, award winning films, with the exception of "Hook" and "1941", and now he's ripping off Pinocchio. "But maybe he was trying to recreate the story of Pinocchio with a futuristic theme, " you say. First, I smack you over the head. Then I remind you of all the cartoon tv shows to live action movies, such as "Mr. Magoo" and "Dudley Do- Right". And need I remind you about the recent Roberto Bengenie-whatever dud, "Pinocchio"? It's exactly the same as A.I., but instead of a 40 year-old man hyperly prancing about the screen, it's an incredibly annoying soon-to-be- former child star who was okay in one film but now sucks. Haley Joel Osment (should be Osmond. Just as annoying.) does not blink in this film. Who the fuck cares?
Luv,
Muttz!
