05/17/01: News Flash: FBI Director Admits to Finding McVeigh Documents In His Pants

Posted By: Mr-Cheeseburger

(BS) At a morning press conference, FBI Director, Louis Freeh, admitted to having had documents relating to the case of Oklahoma City Bomber, Timothy McVeigh, stuffed down his trousers for the last several months. "It was an honest mistake," claimed the outgoing Director. "For a few months, my wife had noticed a large rectangular lump in my pants, but I thought it was a file on the FBI Robert Hanssen spy case. On looking at the documents yesterday, I realized that the papers were actually evidence taken during the initial investigation that included interviews with various parties about John Doe 3 through John Doe 9. I don't believe, however, that these documents would have had significant bearing on the outcome of the case, so we should proceed with getting McVeigh dead as soon as possible before anything else turns up---Uh, I mean, uh, in the interests of justice and the families of the victims." Freeh did not offer an explanation as to how the documents ended up being destroyed under his lawn mower.
