...I thought that I made a post last night here.
To recap what I though that I posted:
RU-486 is a good alternative to invasive medical procedures-it will help women in their fight to be free of the Religious Right's mad attentions in public-unless Operation Rescue, et al, intend to go after every woman, doctor and hospital in the land, on the off-chance that someone is taking this medication...in which case we'll have to execute them all (the R.R.) or lose medicine as a science and an amenity.
I'd bet that the only REAL reason that RU-486 hasn't been OK'd earlier in the States is due to the political and religious pressures that have been brought to bear. A stray thought-could Operation Rescue, etc., be prosecuted undr RICO statutes?
