When the show changed its title, the animation got really crummy too as I recall. Plus, they ahd those stupid adventures of Slimer being chased around by that cat or something. The only thing that was (possibly)better about those episodes was the addition of Louis Tully who was not on the original series. Too bad by then Janine became so bland and WASP-ish that the two characters didn't seem to be as much fun as they were in the second film. One thing that I always found diapointing about the cartoons: No Dana Barrette. It's funny. I have a comic version of the second movie---unfortunately, it was done in like 3 parts & I only have Part 1. The characters are drawn the way they were on the cartoon series. I also have a Real Ghostbusters comic book my father got me in England. They have a different kind of paper than American comics---the cover is made of a different material. Plus, I think it's set in London! Actually, come to think of it, there'd probably be more ghosts in England than in New York City.
Oh, trivia: What do metaphysicists say is the most haunted city in America?
