I've never heard of it, but I've been out of the country for the last few years. What's up with that?
Samhain was actually in several episodes. I've seen him in at least three different episodes as a villain, and he's made cameo appearences in others, too. The last time I saw him was in a Slimer! and The Real Ghostbusters show and it really wasn't that good. In the end, they made it look as if Samhain was defeated for good, even though we all know that it's just not possible to keep a good pumpkin down.
Actually, I'd have to say that today's cartoons are, in general, far superior to those of the 70s and 80s. The Real Ghostbusters is an obvious exception to this rule. But today we have all sorts of really cool, witty cartoons that aren't just animated commercials or recycled concepts from the 60s. Just an opinion.
