Anybody check this out? It's been playing non-stop.
It is the most over-directed mini-series I've ever seen. For example, in a simple conversation between Napoleon and John Malkovich, the director uses shots from knee-level, above, beside. It made me dizzy.
And the other flaw? Too many French. I liked "Sharpe" better.
Gerard Depardiue (screw his too-many-vowels spelling) has a nose that looks even more like a penis than Owen Wilson's.
