Missed most of the first episode ( even though they repeated it three times ) because of my Italian lesson. ( Planning for retirement.)
I thought that the bit I did see sucked Shetland pony wang. Seemed to me that they had turned it into a Harlequin romance. Haven't watched further episodes.
There is a video series, likely British which gives a much fuller inspection of Napoleon and his times. Sorry I can't give further reference but I watched it while bedridden recently and neglected the provenance.
