I think Matt Good is just in the process of breaking into the American market...their first album released in the US is "Beautiful Midnight" I think, which was released earlier this year. I think the first single they released was "Hello Time Bomb", which may be where you know them from. They're a pretty typical mainstream rock band, but I still think they're better than a lot of the other ones out there.
The Tea Party are a little more obscure, though I was surprised to hear from TM that they are so popular in Australia. They haven't released much in the way of new material over the past few years. Their music tends to have a Middle Eastern vibe to it, though they also do a bit of electronic sampling too. As TM said, they can be a bit bombastic, but I like that kind of stuff anyways.
Anyhow, if you want to know more about the bands, the websites are www.matthewgoodband.com and www.teaparty.com
If you are interested in albums, I would recommend "Underdogs" or "Beautiful Midnight" by MGB and "Transmission" or "Tangents" by the Tea Party
