At 93 %, "Ghost World" is so far # 3 of the year behind "With A Friend Like Harry" (I could kick myself for missing that movie -- why didn't you speak up quicker, Scorsese fan? ;)) and "Memento" at Rotten Tomatoes. Ebert may find himself fighting the ultimate uphill battle against this one -- even worse than the one he fought against "Fight Club."
I'm so disgusted to discover that movie doesn't open here until late August -- I might have to make a special trip to New York just to see it! (Hey, I did something crazy like that with "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"!) This is kinda cool -- it's not that often I'm truly looking forward to a movie and actually expecting to like it when I see it. "CTHD" or "Malena" back in January was probably the last time that happened...
