teeth getting pulled, two of them, tomorrow. Wish me luck.
After work tonight, stopped and got all sorts of necessities so I don't have to go out all weekend if I don't want to (brownie mix, soup, avocados, macaroni & cheese, stuff to make my fabulous milk chocolate home made ice cream). Grabbed a bunch of dvd's from the office (some mine, some other people's - I did ask first): Help, Usual Suspects, Dead Zone (have never seen whole thing, and it does star Christopher Walken), Princess Bride, To Kill a Mockingbird, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Have some books stacked by the bed, as well as an Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine.
Then I cleaned my apartment thoroughly. As anyone even semi-anal rententive (everyone here is at least that) would imagine, it would be impossible to rest and recouperate in a vegetative state in a less than clean apartment. You'd be laying there thinking, I need to vacuum. Look at the dust on that window ledge.
So, I guess I'm ready. Oh, and I got a good teeth pulling guy, from what I've heard. My dentist recommended this other guy, "He's cheap," she said. Not the glowing recommendation I was looking for. So I asked around. I'd rather pay a little more (since I have no dental insurance anyway) and get someone who won't make me wish I had gotten someone else.
My ordeal is scheduled for 11:00. So I'll be going in to work first. I have to sew up a few things for this gallery hop our furniture will be in Saturday night. The stuff I need to work on won't be ready till the morning, so I'll go in early to do that. It's very little work, so it won't take long, and I'd probably have gone in for a while anyway. We're excited about this gallery hop. One of the participating galleries is putting some of our stuff in their front window. Should be very cool.
Anyway, please keep your fingers crossed, both for my about to be missing teeth, and the gallery hop thing. I'll let you know how the tooth thing goes. I cewtainwy hope I won't be talking wike Wufgaw aftew the owdeaw takes pwace.
