Why do they keep flying 'emergency' evacuations of sick people from Antarctica in the middle of winter? Why is there a joint US/Russian project to drill down to a magnetic anomoly (mass of metal?) buried for 13000 years in Lake Vostok? Why has the project been shut down (or has it?) for 'National security reasons'? Ehhhhh, scary stuff kids. Sounds like an X Files plot.
