Thank you, whoever wrote the 'Drat' response, because I agree. No, Anastasia is not a Disney Film. No, it was not meant to accurately reflect history. Yes, it would have been better had it sported Russian music. And besides....what parent wnats their elementary schooler watching a movie where the adorable little Princess is never found again, and some impersonator who was long believed to be the real Anastasia turns out to be some lying Hungarian factory worker?
Also, just for the record - I thought it was really cute. And no one will watch this movie and go "Ooh, Rasputin! He did evil magic and was a walking corpse! I'd better bring that the history class!"
