DNA matching has exploded the Anastasia legend. The long time Anastasia Pretender was as predicted, a Hungarian munitions worker who had attempted suicide after WWI. The regal Anastasia spoke Russian, French, English and German, the pretender spoke only German and later learned English. Why that fact alone didn't discredit the pretender is a great example of the power of credulity. However, let's face it, Disney presents entertainment, not historical accurate stories. Still, I think that that bat which Rasputin never owned, should be renamed either "Nixon" of "Fallwell."
