How about you read the sentence again, instead?
While reading it, keep in mind the following defintion (from www.dictionary.com):
Fact: Information presented as objectively real. A real occurrence; an event. Something having real, demonstrable existence. The quality of being real or actual.
After having done that, if you still haven't gotten the point, allow me to eschew the subtle approach and state it: Things that "could very possibly" be, are not facts.
