I just found this going through "Google" - for the record..I knew Hayward Bissell - and his entire family, for that matter. His father was an abusive jerk, his mom a sweet German lady and his older brother, Howard (quoted in the book about this murdrer), was as crazy as Hayward. Howard tried to kill a friend of mine, who lived with him for a while. Hayward would come over to visit her and Howard at times, and talked about how he would want to kill his wife (at the time), like I said, the family gene pool was definitely fucked up!
