Back a couple jobs ago, they used to have a policy of no open-toe shoes. But those shoes became so popular that people started wearing them anyway. So, they came out with a new directive that if you were going to wear them, you had to have your toenails polished. Fucking ridiculous. That's like telling all the women they had to wear makeup.
I think I was the only person who openly wore open-toe shoes without wearing polish.
