I'm hoping this is the Dean that I made the acquaintance with in Titanic forum. If not.....well then.....hello!
Well, after a too-long hiatus from the movies, I watched Antz last week. Must agree with your assessment farther down in this forum regarding computer animation vs. the stop-action work of Ray Harryhausen; for that matter, the early work of Disney when Walt was in charge. My analogy would be the comparison of digital Compact Disks to analogue Vinyl Records (couldn't help but slip that in). There may be a day when the digital computer will supersede the analogue of human talent, imagination, and perseverence, but I still think it's a long way off.
Plan to see Elizabeth tonight. Haven't seen it yet in Cranky's, which is interesting.
