In about the middle of the movie as he's going up the river comsec intel. sends him that thick envolope with a bunch of shit in it they didn't tell him at the begining of the movie. Anyway, there is a radio freq. and code with the coordinants to call in an air strike once he terminates Kurtz's command. He tells chef to do it(if he doesn't come back) when he goes up and gets captured with Lance. But of course they decapitate Chef. And Lance goes bonkers. Anyway, I guess at the end of the movie when he whacks Kurtz, he just says the hell with the air strike and leaves. Thats about it. The original film that was shot, they blew up the village, but Copola didn't print it in the flick when it came out. This was an excellent movie all the way up until they brought Brando in.
