I don't have any sort of "irrational" opposition to nuclear power - all my concerns about it (waste, security, possibility of a meltdown, etc) are completely rational. Plus, I don't see it as an "end all be all" solution to global warming - I do think that it could be useful if properly regulated and monitored, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't be exploring possibilities in wind/solar/hydroelectric power (I agree about the coal thing though).
