02/14/08: How stupid is security at these colleges?

Isn't a 12-Guage a bit too long and pointy to hide? Some idiot tried to sneak a flint lock rifle around a campus out in Queens and didn't get very far (a police cadet and a bunch of guards tackled him.) Then there was that kid with an AK-47 under his sweatshirt (though that one didn't have the stock on it.)

Are we becoming so caught up in our own crap that we don't notice the guy running around with a three foot long gun anymore? No wonder a large group of bad guys were able to move here and plan out 9/11! But the news goes apeshit when Blackberry service goes down, run for your lives! AHHH!!! I've got a Henry Rollin's cd from 1998 where he actually says "We're going to be on the fucking couch with the remote vegging out when the bad guys come here to fucking kill us." That's still true today!
