I knew the director was a nut case as soon as credits ran--lots of pointless choppy editing of equally pointless images. The director, editor and cinematographer should be locked in the trunk of a red Toyota Tercel and, uh, terminated.
Then there was the X-Files opening scene with kid having hallucinations because he's bleeding. Only it takes us 8 agonzing mintues to learn this while we could have been groping our movie date.
Next, I agree totally with Mr. C, who thinks Jeff B was on Novocaine or some other major pharmaceutical. Jack Nicholoson was better in the "after" part of "One Flew Over Cuckoo's Nest." Jeff was so out of shape, such messy hair, such overacting, I cheered at the end.
Too bad. With good directing, editing, acting and more plotline for the women, AR could have been a winner.
