THis is just a test to see if I can get rid of the italics...
but as far as movies inspired by Shakespeare plays, I'd read that "L.A. Story" was supposed to be based on "Midsummer Night's Dream" but I've read the play and seen the movie several times, and I've never been able to see the connection.
