If you become rich, and can afford the treatments to halt the aging process, what will happen once you do die? Your place in heaven may be taken by someone else.
Just imagine dying by accident at the age of 2005. You beat on the pearly gates only to have St. Peter turn you away. "What happened?" St. Peter asks. "You were supposed to be here back in 2050. We gave your spot to Tim McVeigh. He kept begging and whining for Satan to let him out, so when you didn't show up on time, we naturally assumed you had cancelled. I'm sorry, but you'll have to take a number. Go stand over there behind Hitler and wait your turn".
Oh, all kinds of tragedies could be spawned by people wanting to live forever.
