At first I was tempted to just post "We'd rather you die now", but that was too easy, too obvious and pretty much in line with the lame shit I usually post. When I thought about it for a full nine seconds, I realized there was a conflict between what you last posted and the general tone of most of your writing. I would have never guessed that such cynicism would come from one who believes in heaven and the whole mythological super being scenario.
I want to live forever. If that were possible, I'm sure that within a reasonable amount of time, science will not only be able to halt the aging process, but reverse it, and all for $1.98. I want to be around for the release of the Pentium 341894565347. I want to be there when Ted Nugent battles Hallie Eisenberg for the presidency. (This will happen while the nation is still reeling in shock over the assassination of President Bill Maher by a maniac, who while not particularly irked at Maher's politics, said he could not stand the thought of hearing one more of his shitty jokes) I want to see true world peace, although I think there is a good chance the Arabs and Israelis will still be going at it the day the Sun goes supernova. I want to be there when a project that has baffled scientists for decades finally comes to fruition: chocolate Jell-O. I want to live long enough to view a Liquid Sunshine approved hot oil lesbian holodeck program. I want to be there when the Screw-U-Einstein Institute perfects their faster than light drive.
But mostly, I think it would be a kick to be around when we finally make contact with an extra-terrestrial civilization. I'd like to be not only alive when this happens, but there on the mission as well. "Hmmmmm. Universal translator appears to be working... Dudes! Greetings from Earth! Got roller coasters?"
