at Osaka Castle..Its Plum Blossom season..and there are these stalls that sell little mini-versions of the larger trees...little kinda bonsai affairs...well..there was one there on Monday for 5000 yen..(about 50 bux) and it was some kinda mutant hybrid of white blossoms on one branch and pink on the other..it was gorgeous..with the trunk all tortuted and twisted in that neat japanese way..the base was coated in this beautiful moss..and the pot was a lovely dark blue...it was awesome.
i THOUGHT about getting it then...but i decide to sleep on it...then i had to work yesterday...and i decided i wanted it after all..and sure enough I hike way the hell out there today...its gone!
DAMMIT...it will be a year until there are more..so i got THAT to keep me company for another 11 months.
ah regret.
