What surprises me: The same people who want more religion in their government.
Who want more censorship, with particular regards to religious and nationalist iconography.
Who want women to dress more modestly.
Who want their news to be more favourable towards their conservative government.
Who want the gay community gone.
Who want the world to remain dependent on Middle Eastern oil.
Who want all of this.
Also want to prevent the "Islamo-fascists" taking over.
