03/06/08: Actually, liberals are very divdied on this.

Some liberals are very much aware that biofuels cause net harm to the environment, and they oppose them.

Other liberals favor biofuels, because it makes them feel good. If you try to explain the science to these liberals, they will say, "I care about the environment and you don't." They're not interested in discussing the actual science. Their only goal is to prove their moral superiority.
