isn't that they are good for the environment.
It is that they are not produced by the Arabs.
A lot of liberals talk about siding with Palestine, but when push comes to shove the reason for that support tends towards a guilty feeling of glee whenever Israel gets sick of people with shitty aim shooting rockets over the border and responds with rockets that are somewhat better at hitting their targets.
Sure, we all recognise that the Palestinians are don't deserve the shit they have gotten, but deep down within our heart of hearts we know that in terms of the story of the universe, Palestine is the butt-monkey of history.
They start shit, they get the shit kicked out of them, everybody makes sympathetic noises until they start shit again, get the shit kicked out of them again, and it goes on.
